MCPS MAP Test Schedule: 5/1 - 5/30

The test result for a G7 student will serve as a key factor in the admissions to high school magnet programs:
- Blair STEM and CAP programs
- Richard Montgomery IB
- Poolesville High SMCS, Global Ecology, and Humanity

Math: 1.5 hrs

Reading + Writing: 1.5 hrs 

MAP and digital SAT tests are strikingly similar:

• Both are computer randomized tests.
• Both tests offer NO test records, so the student will never know what went wrong.
• Both are adaptive tests (incrementally difficult or easy)
• Both are used to calibrate students' proficiency in math, reading, and grammar usage.
