  • Polynomial and Rational Functions: Focuses on quadratic, cubic, and rational functions, their graphs, zeros, and asymptotes. Critical for algebraic manipulation and problem-solving.
  • Exponential and Logarithmic Functions: Explores exponential growth/decay, logarithmic properties, and their applications. Key for understanding rates of change and calculus prerequisites.
  • Trigonometric Functions: Includes sine, cosine, tangent, their graphs, identities, and applications like the unit circle. Fundamental for calculus involving periodic phenomena.
  • Complex Numbers: You'll learn how to perform operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with complex numbers and understand their role in solving certain quadratic and polynomial equations that don't have real solutions.
