About our Team:
Math Instructors:
Daniel Li
Purdue University
Ph. D., Computer Science
Envisioning the importance of education for future generations, Dr. Li founded MathEnglish.com in 1995 to provide vigorous curriculum to his own children while working as a software architect in the technology industry. Since its inception in Rockville, Maryland, this institution has helped many students achieve their academic goals. The accomplishments are attributed to one single principle: to empower students with a net; not a fish. Over the years, Dr. Li's desire to inspire the brightest was fired up after his own children graduated from college and began their own careers.
From K-12, Dr. Li's students begin building a solid foundation in reading, vocabulary, writing, analysis, public speaking, and mathematical/logical reasoning. After nearly two decades, the same parents continue sending their children to Dr. Li’s Math/English programs. Alumni of Dr. Li's programs have been admitted to the most prestigious colleges and universities in the world and many have enjoyed professional success.
Dr. Li and his team fulfills high-potential students' innermost academic needs by guiding them them to stay ahead in the K-12 academic race. This is achieved by relentlessly instlling students with a desire to succeed, the most important ingredient for academic (and life) success.
* Dr. Li received his BA and MA in Mathematics from the National Taiwan University, and MS and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from Purdue University in 1995.
** Dr. Li was employed as a professional Software Engineer at Hughes Network Systems, Senior Research Scientist at Bellcore (formerly Bell Labs, currently Telcordia Technologies), Senior Software Architect of TransTech Networks, and CTO of Smart Technologies in Taiwan -- a technology design company in the business of manufacturing printed circuit boards and device software for industrial control systems. Since 2008, Dr. Li has shifted his focus to the high-end education industry, and is a leader in the field.
