DL on APUSH
I first began attending M&E Academy in elementary school, and the classes I attended were very high quality and useful, and they were great because I could attend the classes that suited my level. If the American public school system just isn't quite doing it for your children, I'd really recommend M&E Academy, especially for elementary school students.
During middle school and high school I wasn't able to attend M&E Academy regularly due to time conflicts, but I did attend the AP Prep sessions offered there. I took the AP US History prep classes and it was extremely helpful to me. I have extremely poor memory, so on top of APUSH being notoriously one of the hardest AP exams, it was going to be even more difficult for me. Personally, as someone with poor memory, attending such prep classes wouldn't really do much, as I wouldn't be able to retain that historical knowledge anyways. However, the M&E Academy APUSH prep class was helpful to me and helped me get a score I was satisfied with because it taught me important test taking strategies. What was really helpful was the teacher explaining how to construct organizers for the written portion of the test, which accounted for a large fraction of the total score. I found that by following the teacher's advice for the written portion, I was able to write much better than usual (not sure if you can tell, but I'm not great at writing, I am not one for the books).
I would really recommend M&E Academy for students of all ages, and I know that personally, I will be back for future APs.
