Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) is a multiple-choice test designed to measure the academic aptitude and gifted abilities for a student.

Note:
There is not much predictive validity or power in the correlation between IQ and CogAT scores. Achievement tests demand a high level of motivation, emotional control and focus to do well on where IQ tests do not. It is very possible to have an average IQ score and do exceptionally well on the CogAT.
